Welcome to T27. Our troop was founded in 1942. Since our inception we have proudly advanced over 125 scouts to the rank of Eagle. We are a very active outdoor troop with a fleet of canoes and camping equipment. We participate in many of the BSA sanctioned events and gatherings as well as many more of our own, at least one per month. We meet every Wednesday evening at the American Legion post 1420 in Newburgh, NY. T27 is always welcoming new members including Cub Scouts ready to "cross over" and youth who may be brand new to Scouting.

The Hudson Valley Renegades hosted another Scout Night complete with a pre-game picnic, scout parade and an outfield campout. Lets Go GADES !!
Representing our troop at this year's Memorial Day Parade, complete with a mobile campsite. Proud to carry our colors and the colors of our great Nation !
This year's Camporee was a huge success for the Greater Hudson Valley Council and for T27. With 23 activity stations and a Star Wars theme, scout fun and scout spirit ruled the galaxy.
A beautiful weekend at Winding Hills. And when our scouts are given logs and lashings... a fort is the only option.
